28.09 - Day 257 - Sutivan, CRO

Saturday 28th September - Sutivan (Brac Island), Croatia (Day 257)

We take a walk around the village, centred on the small marina. Seb is thrilled to find a 5-a-side astroturf football pitch - it certainly is the best of all we’ve seen in Croatia (which is a lot), complete with 200 seats on one side and beach and sea on the other. 

We all take a swim before lunch, with dark clouds on the mainland heading towards us. 

After lunch I manage another quick swim before I realise I’m the only one on the beach or in the sea as it’s suddenly got very dark. Sure enough the rain rolls through but not for long, allowing Kate and Seb to get some more football in - they’re usurped by an organised kids match, which Seb is happy to sit and watch. 

Meanwhile Sienna is just as happy sitting in the apartment reading the Harry Potter series for the umpteenth time. 

Four nights in the same place has allowed sights to be turned to the future and we decide to book flights from Bangkok to Sydney for 21st December. Now to decide how and when to get to Bangkok.
